Beogram TX 2

The Beogram TX 2 used the same basic mechanicals and electronics as the Beogram 5005 but was intended for use with non-B&O equipment. The principle difference was that Datalink was not included and the connecting cable was terminated with two RCA type plugs and a grounding lead. The styling was also altered slightly, using similar colours and themes to the Beogram RX 2. Most interestingly, a different lid was fitted which had a small grey-painted metal insert, onto which was printed “Tangential OPP Tracking System”, the only reference to the Optimum Pivot Point tone arm design to appear on a Beogram.
