Beocenter 5000

A more basic version of Beocenter 7002, with no remote control, multiroom capability or timer. Visually distinguished by a matt black anodised lid and turntable deck, and black control keys. The arm was also different, similar to that used later on the Beogram 1800, but with an MMC 20 E pickup. The tape deck was slightly improved by making it compatible with Metal tapes. Despite the reduced specification, quality remained as high as ever. This model was offered complete with a pair of Beovox S 55 loudspeakers, the package the being known as Beosystem 5000.
