Description

The turntable for the Beolab 6000 system. Very similar to Beogram 8000, the main visual difference being the control keys were black instead of aluminum. Technical differences resulted in slightly lower mechanical performance, possibly as a result of the 8000 being built from “selected” parts. the standard fitment of a MMC 20 EN (Elliptical Nude) pickup was another difference. Pickup aside, the differences in performance would have been very small between the Beogram 6006 and 8000, but it would have been important from a marketing point of view that the Beogram 8000 was slightly better, re-affirming its position as the finest of all turntables.
