Beomaster 1600
(1980)

Description
This model was very similar to the Beomaster 1700. The main difference was that the tuner section covered the FM band only, so in place of the MW and LW bands two extra pre-set FM stations were offered instead. Text copyright © Beocentral. Unauthorised reproduction prohibited.
There were two variations of the Beomaster 1600, one for the European market and one for the USA. The European variation had black anodised alumiunium parts and a type number of 1702. The USA version was type 1703 and had natural aluminium parts, giving it the same appearance as the Beomaster 1700, however the sockets on the back were RCA types rather than DIN.
