Beomaster Control Module

(1976-1982) Remote control for Beomaster 2400

Description

Although this is often referred to by B&O as their first audio remote control, in fact it came after the Beomaster 6000 Commander. Using the same casework as the Beovision Control Module, it controlled 8 basic functions of the Beomaster 2400 and 2400-2. due to limited space for controls, only 4 of the 5 radio stations could be selected, and no key for the cassette deck input (TP) was included. When used with the Beomaster 2400-2 and the Beogram 4004, 2400 or 2402, the PH key could start and stop the record player. The 8 keys were made in the form of 4 aluminium rocker strips, with each function controlled by pressing the end of one of the strips. Text copyright © Beocentral.
