Beosystem 4500

A new look and a new CD player for this range of models. The control panels were now sensi-touch black glass, whilst the top covers were shiny polished aluminum. The Beogram CD 4500 was an all new model which could be hung on a wall in the same way as the Beomaster and Beocord, making a long, elegant console. This of course required a longer wall bracket. The provision of an MCL socket allowed full integration with other B&O equipment, such as Beovision MX 4000. Loudspeakers were most obviously Beovox 5000, though Beomaster 4500 also had Powerlink sockets for active loudspeakers, Beolab 5000 being the most suitable. Text copyright © Beocentral.
