BeoVision Avant 28 CTV

The BeoVision Avant CTV was available only as a 28” model. It was identical to the standard model except that a video recorder was not fitted. This was not visually obvious, a slightly different loudspeaker cloth being the only clue. This set was introduced after the 100Hz chassis had been adopted in the standard VTR model, and so all BeoVision Avant CTVs featured 100Hz scanning. The BeoVision Avant CTV was ideal as a slightly larger alternative to the MX 4002 in a Beolink system, and could be fitted with the same optional modules as the standard model.
