Beovision M 20

(1986-1987) 20” colour television, A2 stereo, optional teletext, 2X 7W

Type numbers: 3101, 3102, 3103, 3104, 3105, 3107

A more basic version of the MX 2000. Changes are few, there was no contrast screen and the cabinet shell was only available in unpainted moulded grey plastic. The M 20 was more suited to bedroom use than the MX 2000, since it lacked the acrylic contrast screen which was prone to attracting dust when it became statically charged. The M 20 was available in the UK, though it does not appear in any of the range catalogues, except for a small, uncaptioned picture in the back of the 1985 issue, where an M 20 is shown connected to a Commodore Plus 4 computer.
