Beovox 4500

This model was identical in all respects to the Beovox 3000, except that the model number had been changed. The reason for this was because that the Beolab 3000 (on which the Beovox 3000 was based) had been replaced with the Beolab 4500, which had a re-programmed microcomputer fitted inside its power amplifier. Even though there were no changes to the loudspeaker part, it made sense to update the numbering too keep the range understandable at a glance. Text copyright © Beocentral.
