This pickup was not fitted as standard to any Beogram or Beocenter, but could be bought as a replacement or upgrade. Whilst it could be fitted to any Beogram that used this type of pickup, it was only really a worthwhile addition to the very finest. The construction of the parts was the same as that for the MMC 2, that is, a sapphire cantilever and a contact line diamond stylus, but the effective tip mass was reduced from 0.3 grams to 0.25 grams, improving the tracking ability.
