ST/P

A longer version of the ST-L. The “P” stood for “professional”, and the arm, which was about twelve inches long, was an ideal upgrade for larger professional and Hi-Fi turntables where space was not at a premium. Extending the length of any tonearm has numerous beneficial effects, the reduction of the error caused by the stylus changing angle as the record plays being the most important, so a turntable fitted with the ST-P would be capable of better performance than one using the ST-L.
