BeoCenter 6-26

The use of the BeoCenter name for what was clearly a television ensured that this model aroused considerable interest. The previous BeoCenter 1 had combined a fully featured television set, a DVD player (that could also play compact discs without having to have the screen turned on) and an FM radio. The BeoCenter 6-26 was not so well equipped. The DVD player was not fitted and this considerably reduced the usefulness of the set as a whole. In short, what one got was a BeoVision 6-26 television set with an FM radio built in. The radio was constructed on a small plug-in module which was so small that you might wonder why it was not fitted to all the sets as a standard item, rather than forming the basis for a special model.
