Beocord 1100
(1975-1977) Stereo cassette recorder with Dolby B NR
Type number: 2612

Description
An updated version of Beocord 900, but with many changes. Most important was the addition of Dolby B noise reduction, engaged by a push switch on the front. The chrome setting now also gave correct equalisation on playback as well as record, and a new version of the Vortex tape deck was fitted. This now included an enlarged flywheel and full electronic auto stop with tape protection (there is no auto stop of any kind on Beocord 900). The facia was now anodised black to match the Beomaster 1100, though the height difference remained. This machine was also recommended for use with Beocenters 1800 and 3500, or to add a second deck to Beocenter 1600. Text copyright © Beocentral. Unauthorised reproduction prohibited.
