Beogram 3000
(1985-1987) Stereo turntable, tangential tracking, 33/45RPM, Datalink, MMC 4 pickup
Type numbers: 5901, 5903, 5905

Description
The Beogram 3000 was internally an identical machine to the Beogram 5005, and was introduced at around the same time. The cabinet offered an alternative styling approach, with an inclined lid and a mostly black finish. A novel feature was that secondary control keys projected through the lid, so all functions bar the speed change could be operated without lifting the lid and exposing the record on the platter to dust. Originally, the Beogram 3000 was the recommended choice to work with the Beomaster 3000, though it was notable that no real attempt had been made to make the styling of the turntable match that of the Beomaster, unlike the Beogram 2000 that was offered with the Beomaster 2000. Later, the Beogram 3000 was also recommended for use with the Beocenter 9000. A wall-mounted shelf was available for use with the Beogram 3000 so that it could be fixed to a wall along with Beomaster 3000 and Beocord 2000. Text copyright © Beocentral. The Beogram 3000 was replaced by two models, the Beogram 3300 for the Beosystem 3300 and the Beogram 9000 for the Beocenter 9000. Text copyright © Beocentral. Unauthorised reproduction prohibited.
