Beosystem 2400

This remote controlled Hi-Fi system was amongst the first from B&O where the remote control instructions were sent between units. The Beomaster 2400-2 receiver and Beogram 2400 turntable had a special interconnection so that when “P” was pressed on the Beomaster Control Module remote control the record player started automatically. A pair of Beovox S 45-2 loudspeakers completed the system and if a tape recorder was required then the Beocord 1900 was suitable, though this could not be selected or operated by remote control.
