The Beovision MX 5500 replaced the MX 5000 and was the first large-screen MX series set to be fitted with a proper B&O chassis. However, during the period of changeover some MX 5500-baged sets were released with MX 5000 internals, a non-ideal situation as the previous set was far less versatile. Text copyright © Beocentral.
