Description

The Beogram 1203 replaced the Beogram 1202, and was a simpler version that was cheaper to produce. The 1202 had used the same mechanicals as the Beogram 3000, so was a very comprehensive machine indeed. This caused a problem because there was not much difference (price aside) between the two. The Beogram 1203 lost the heavy die-cast damping weights, the elevating 45 rpm centre and the indicator lamp which previously showed when the automatic cuing mechanism was in operation. Despite these changes, the Beogram 1203 was still a complete and useful model capable of good performance. Text copyright © Beocentral. Unauthorised reproduction prohibited.
